Samsung Electronics Service will provide repair services for five days during the Chuseok holiday.
According to Samsung Electronics Service on the 1st, on Oct. 3, National Foundation Day, the first day of the holiday, and from the 7th to Oct. 9, Hangeul Day, customers can use repair services for phones, tablets, and wearables at nine "Weekend Care Centers" by making a reservation in advance. The Weekend Care Centers will not operate on the 5th–6th.
Reservations for the Weekend Care Centers are available through the Samsung Electronics Service website and the contact center (1588-3366), and hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Only the Seoul Samsung Gangnam Service Center operates from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Saturday the 4th, all 169 service centers nationwide will open and provide repair services for devices such as phones and tablets.
In addition, during the holiday period, an "emergency on-site service" will be provided only for cases requiring urgent repairs due to home appliance failures. Symptoms that require urgent checks, such as "refrigerator not freezing or cooling," are the main targets.
To prepare for the extended holidays, Samsung Electronics Service will post product-specific self-diagnosis methods, frequently asked questions, and do-it-yourself solutions on its website, and the contact center will operate under an emergency duty system.
