Okestro said on the 1st that it held the Early Access Tech Forum under the theme "Competitiveness in the AI-first era, strategies for leveraging private cloud."
The forum was held on Sept. 30 at the Conrad Seoul hotel, where about 20 chief information officers (CIOs) from major corporations in electronics, telecommunications, construction, and automotive attended to discuss infrastructure strategies amid the spread of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption.
The event consisted of three sessions. In the first session, Seo Young-seok, head of solution strategy at Okestro, presented on the theme "Beyond VMware starting with OKESTRO," sharing replacement cases using the server virtualization solution "CONTRABASS."
In the second session, Okestro CVO Na Yeon-mook presented on "Cloud computing 2025: Cloud technologies and industry clouds," sharing changes in global cloud technologies and industry-specific best cases.
In the third session, Jeong Jae-heon, CEO of OkestroAGI, presented "AI technology trends and the government's AI direction," addressing changes in GPU-based infrastructure environments and tasks for corporations to tackle.
Okestro CEO Kim Beom-jae said, "As we enter the AI-first era, infrastructure strategy is an important element of corporations' competitiveness," and "Through this forum, we were able to discuss private cloud transition models and strategies by industry."
