SOFTCAMP said on the 30th that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Taiwan's Atrust on the 29th to expand market opportunities. Through this, the company will move to ensure a stable supply of SOFTCAMP's on-premises (deployment-type) security appliances.
SOFTCAMP said, "Cloud adoption is accelerating, but there is still on-premises security demand in certain specialized industries such as finance and the public sector," and added, "Even in industries where cloud adoption is restricted or tightly regulated, we will provide a stable security environment while complying with compliance requirements."
Specifically, the company will launch a new on-premises security appliance, the "Shield Blade Server," by combining Atrust's robotic process automation (RPA) server with SOFTCAMP's Security 365 security platform. This applies a blade server form that can easily scale an installation-type device as needed, offering advantages in space utilization and management efficiency. The company said enhanced management convenience will allow it to provide customers with more stable and cost-effective security services.
Bae Hwanguk, CEO of SOFTCAMP, said, "This collaboration with Atrust will serve as an important foothold for providing a stable security environment even in specialized industries such as finance and the public sector where compliance with regulations is required," and added, "We will work to provide differentiated services that guarantee both customers' regulatory compliance and security stability."
