SK Telecom said on the 29th that it will expand the business AI agent "A. Biz," co-developed with SK AX, to 25 SK Group member companies by the end of this year. Through this, SK Group plans to realize "innovation in the way of working" using AI technology.
"A. Biz" is SK Telecom's core business-to-business (B2B) AI solution that supports professional tasks such as information search, schedule management, and minutes writing, as well as hiring. When users make work requests in natural language in the chat window, the AI provides an answer and carries out the related tasks on their behalf. For example, if you type "tell me the meeting schedule I will attend today," it can check the schedule and handle everything in one stop, from reserving a conference room to notifying participants.
In addition, SK Telecom added "Agent Builder" and "Agent Store" features so that members without IT knowledge can easily create AI agents and share them. For example, an HR manager can create an AI agent that handles inquiries related to personnel systems without any technical knowledge and distribute it to all members.
In the first half of this year, SK Telecom conducted a closed beta test (CBT) for SK Telecom and SK AX members to enhance the performance of "Agent Builder." The test found it reduced the time needed to write minutes by 60% and to draft reports by about 40%. This is seen as an important achievement that allows members to ease the burden of routine tasks and focus on core work that demands creativity.
"A. Biz" was officially launched at the end of June at SK Telecom and SK AX, and in the second half of this year, starting with seven companies including SK discovery, about 80,000 people at a total of 25 SK member companies, including SK hynix and SK Innovation, will use it by year-end. SK Telecom plans to provide customized services for various industries and ensure stability by improving functions tailored to each industry's characteristics. In particular, for corporations that hold national core technologies such as SK hynix, SK On, and SK Siltron, SKT's large language model (LLM) "A.X" and SK AX's industry-specialized AI technologies will be applied to enhance security.
