Smilegate said on the 29th that it will officially launch worldwide through Steam on the 30th the hit title Saniyang Laboratory from TalesShop, Korea's leading visual novel developer.
Saniyang Laboratory was first released on Stove in Dec. last year and has continued to enjoy strong popularity. From launch to now, the game has recorded the highest sales in the visual novel genre serviced on Stove. In particular, its original universe featuring charming anthropomorphic characters and its delicate storytelling are cited as strengths.
For this global launch, Smilegate prepared versions in Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. As a global launch bonus, it will offer three types of special wallpapers featuring characters such as Sani, Namo, and Kiwi. For domestic fans, it will separately introduce a Korean-language character voice pack (voice clips, character skits, voice actors' free talk).
Also, Smilegate will hold a publisher sale on Steam for two weeks from the 8th to the 22nd of next month. The discount event will apply to all titles published by Smilegate on Steam, with a steep discount rate of up to 70%.
In particular, on the 8th of next month, the start date of the sale, Smilegate's publishing titles will be selected for the Daily Deal featured on Steam's main page, and are expected to draw high interest and attention from Steam users worldwide.
