AhnLab said on the 26th that it held the "AhnLab Developers Conference 2025" at its Pangyo headquarters for employees from the 23rd to the 25th.
The conference was organized to strengthen research and development capabilities and expand knowledge, and this year's slogan was "In the AI era, asking about the next role of AhnLab developers." A total of 20 sessions were held, and AhnLab CEO Kang Seok-gyun and Research Institute Head Jeon Seong-hak attended the opening. ReturnZero Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Jeong Ju-young delivered a keynote on "How does AI become a service," and Seoul National University Professor Kang Pil-sung and Stealien Head of Team Son Ju-hwan shared AI security application cases.
The in-house knowledge-sharing sessions consisted of three tracks — ▲ AI and practical applications ▲ AI and security ▲ development and growth·culture — with employees directly sharing their expertise and experience.
CEO Kang Seok-gyun said, "As AI has taken hold as an essential capability, the role of developers is expanding into creating diverse value," and added, "I hope this conference will be a time to consider direction amid change." Research Institute Head Jeon Seong-hak emphasized, "Developers in the AI era must grow into orchestrators who use various tools, rather than simple coders."
Lee Ji-eun, an associate researcher at AhnLab who took part in the event, said it was "an opportunity to think about the capabilities needed as a developer in the AI era and to network with experts inside and outside the company."
AhnLab regularly runs job-specific training programs, including "Planning & Strategy Day" for planning and marketing staff and "Consulting School" for consulting staff, to support employee growth, including this conference.
