Alibaba Cloud said on the 26th that it will add another data center in Korea next year.
Alibaba Cloud, which operates 91 availability zones in 29 regions worldwide, will build its first data centers next year in three regions including Brazil, and will add data centers in four regions including Mexico and Japan, as well as Korea.
Feifei Li, head of global business at Alibaba Cloud, said at the Apsara Conference 2025, "This strategic expansion of global infrastructure is designed to meet the demand of customers with innovative thinking."
Li added, "Alibaba Cloud provides full-stack AI and cloud solutions that enable corporations around the world to design, launch and scale innovative AI agents and applications."
Alibaba Cloud also launched the AI Catalyst program, designed to support the growth and expansion of global artificial intelligence (AI) corporations.
Selected corporations will receive up to 2 billion free tokens and $120,000 in cloud credits on Model Studio, Alibaba Cloud's one-stop generative AI development platform.
In addition, Alibaba Cloud said it will continue its partnership with Thinksport, an innovation platform established by the International Skating Union (ISU) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
