Kakao Entertainment said on the 25th that, together with the Kakao Creative Foundation, it will hold the 13th Grow-up Talk & Talk, a lecture event for aspiring creators in music, at Dreamplus in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 26th.
Grow-up Talk & Talk is a free, offline lecture program open to anyone interested in the cultural content industry, including aspiring creators, and has delivered practical experience and inspiration to creators. This event, held in cooperation with the Korea Performers' Association (EumSillyeon), will be conducted for about 100 people, with three of Korea's leading musicians—Shin Yeon-a (Big Mama), Jeong Dong-hwan (MeloMance), and Solji (EXID)—participating as speakers.
Meanwhile, the Kakao Creative Foundation is a foundation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, established by Kakao Entertainment to build a healthy ecosystem in collaboration with creators. In particular, together with Melon's indie music activation project Track Zero, it has continued its official sponsorship of Hongdae's representative indie music festival Live Club Day since Feb. 2023, and since June this year has been supporting indie artists so they can take the stage at representative festivals such as the DMZ Peace Train Music Festival and the Asian Pop Festival.
