SK AX said on the 25th that it will expand its AX-based cloud managed service (MSP) for global manufacturing companies.
The service is an artificial intelligence (AI)-based operating model that goes beyond cloud infrastructure operations to improve productivity, quality, and expense together, and it is being applied on actual manufacturing floors.
Global manufacturing companies must rapidly scale production capacity while facing an aging workforce, complex equipment, and high infrastructure expense. To address these challenges, SK AX provides an AI operating framework based on its multi-cloud management platform MCMP. Key functions are ▲ resource and expense optimization "AI FinOps" ▲ issue detection and auto-recovery "AIOps" ▲ stable operations support "AI agents."
Through this framework, customers can shorten infrastructure build time and reduce operating expense, and it can also be used for production capacity expansion and building data analytics environments. A U.S. semiconductor equipment manufacturer and global logistics corporations adopted the service, cutting operating expense by about 30% and improving management efficiency.
In addition, a global advanced materials manufacturer is migrating its manufacturing execution system (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) to the cloud, and is pushing to improve productivity and quality by analyzing large-scale data.
SK AX noted that cases of adopting AX-based cloud MSP are increasing in overseas markets, including the United States and Europe, and said it is expanding collaboration based on results in expense reduction and productivity gains.
