Nexon said on the 24th that it updated a classic server for the mobile and PC MMORPG "HIT2," developed by its subsidiary NEXON GAMES.
The classic server applies a new currency acquisition system and equipment crafting method based on "HIT2" combat and progression. If you use a "Gem Farming Premium top-up ticket" obtained from the season pass, you can use "gems" acquired by defeating monsters at the marketplace and shop, and you can also exchange them for a new currency, "tokens," to purchase items. It also adjusts performance by equipment enhancement stage and introduces a system that allows you to craft higher-tier gear using existing equipment.
On the classic server, players can explore three regions—"Island of Waves," "Teraguard," and "Tria"—and the dungeons "Tower of Revelation" and "Hall of Dawn." Six classes are supported: "greatsword," "bow," "staff," "blunt," "dual blades," and "orb." In October, the server's first siege war and a new region update are scheduled.
Alongside this, the Origin server also received an update. Through a renewal of the "orb" class, the new skill "Brilliant Blessing" was added, and casting speed and recovery ability were improved. New content, "pet expedition," was introduced, allowing players to dispatch pets to earn rewards. Pet awakening stages have been expanded from before to allow up to stage 3.
To mark the update, Nexon will run the classic server "latecomer registration" event through Oct. 21. Participants can obtain fragments that can be exchanged for a "Gem Farming Premium 14-day top-up ticket," and they can also take part in related events using the distributed "Hit to the Money participation coin."
