LG Electronics said it will hold the LG Software Developers Conference 2025 at Magok LG Science Park for three days starting on the 23rd to foster technical exchange and communication among software developers.
Marking its fourth year, the LG Software Developers Conference opened that day under the theme of "innovation, integration, and advancement." More than 3,500 developers from LG Electronics, LG Energy Solution, LG CNS, and other LG affiliates took part, creating a heated atmosphere.
At this year's event, domestic and international experts will share technology trends and development know-how focused on artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and cybersecurity. In addition to the LG AI Research Institute, innovation technology leaders from global tech corporations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS), Google Cloud, and IBM Quantum will deliver keynote speeches in succession.
They will share world-class research outcomes and the latest adoption cases at global corporations, and present on changes AI will bring, strategies and direction in the AI era, and security strategies. In particular, Yuri Kobayashi, head of IBM Quantum for the Asia-Pacific region, is set to share insights on in-depth topics, including challenges to advance quantum computing technology and its growth potential.
Global partners such as AWS, MS, Google Cloud, and IBM will also run demo booths where attendees can experience the latest development tools and environments firsthand. At the demo booths, on-site engineers will provide technical support to offer participants practical and systematic opportunities to acquire skills.
In addition to sharing the latest technology trends and trends, this year's software developers conference will feature a wide range of community-centered exchange programs to allow free communication with experts across various fields and expand collaboration opportunities.
The kernel developer network program, which received positive reviews last year, will be expanded this year to include programs for security and web (web)OS developers. The event will also feature a Mentoring & Networking Zone to support developers' growth, as well as a Workshop Program that enhances practical adaptability and deepens technical understanding through hands-on learning.

The finals of the software developer prompt-thon and hacking competition, as well as a project manager contest, will also take place. The software developer prompt-thon will test creative capabilities for planning and developing customer-centric AI solutions. The hacking competition will verify security capabilities, and the project manager contest will assess project management capabilities in situations similar to real-world work.
