NHN Cloud said on the 22nd that it took part in the Asia Edutech Conference 2025 held at COEX in Seoul on the 19th.
The Asia Edutech Conference is a side event of Edutech Korea Fair, the country's largest educational technology exhibition hosted annually by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It serves as a venue for exchange where experts from educational institutions and corporations across Asia, as well as government officials, participate to share the state of the education market and ongoing projects and technologies.
Using this event as a foothold, NHN Cloud participated to build a strategic cooperation base with Asia's edutech corporations and to expand its global network with member countries of the Asia Edutech Summit (AES). The conference, under the theme "Connecting Asia, strengthening education," featured various sessions including sharing the latest edutech cases from each country, business strategies, and global networking opportunities.
At the opening ceremony, Kim Dong-hun, CEO of NHN Cloud, emphasized, "At a time when the entire education industry is shifting to digital, we will become a partner that drives educational innovation by providing AI infrastructure and solutions simultaneously to educational institutions and corporations based on cloud technology."
In the subsequent presentation session, Park Hyeong-geon, senior manager of the Cloud Business Proposal Office at NHN Cloud, shared strategies to support the cloud-based edutech industry and directions for cooperation with Asia's education ecosystem under the theme "NHN Cloud's AI infrastructure strategy for edutech."
NHN Cloud said it plans to further strengthen its strategic alliance with NetLearning, Japan's largest e-learning corporations and the AES chair company, on the occasion of this event. In Jul., NHN Cloud signed a business agreement with NetLearning, establishing a foundation for cooperation on educational AI cloud infrastructure and joint entry into global markets.
