Microsoft (MS) said on the 22nd that it will push an artificial intelligence (AI) competency enhancement program for elementary, middle, and high school teachers in Korea.
The program is part of Microsoft's Showcase Schools and the Innovative Educator renewal, as well as My Hero, an advanced AI training course for innovative educators.
Schools participating in the Showcase Schools program can develop technologies needed for future society and strengthen capabilities by working with Microsoft, domestic and overseas learning partners, and innovative schools around the world. One middle school is currently participating in Microsoft Showcase Schools.
The Innovative Educator program is run to cultivate educators who raise student engagement, creativity, and collaboration skills, and it has been revamped to provide benefits such as global collaboration and technical support.
Applicants to the Innovative Educator program must complete required learning courses on Microsoft Learn (MS Learn) and submit a personal statement and real-world use cases.
My Hero is an advanced AI training course for teachers who have completed the Innovative Educator program and wish to serve as AI experts, with practice-centered instruction.
