NEOWIZ said on the 22nd that its Round8 Studio will take part in the global game conference "G-CON 2025 (G-CON)," to be held in Busan in Nov.
Round8 Studio will field four directors as speakers — Choi Ji-won, Lee Sang-gyun, Jin Seung-ho, and Kwon Byung-su — with Naver Webtoon "Dr. Frost" author Lee Jong-beom serving as moderator. They will share their development philosophies on the theme of "game narrative" and offer various perspectives on the conditions for a good game based on real experience. The session will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the BEXCO Convention Hall in Busan.
NEOWIZ is the only Korean game company participating in a group session at this year's G-CON. It will take the stage alongside global speakers such as Horii Yuji of the Japanese RPG "Dragon Quest" and Jennifer Svedberg-Young, lead writer of "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33."
A NEOWIZ official said, "It is meaningful to share Round8 Studio's development philosophy on the global stage," and noted, "We hope this will be a time to meet fans in person and communicate on the theme of game narrative."
Meanwhile, Round8 Studio director Kwon Byung-su oversaw the narrative for "Lies of P," and director Lee Sang-gyun is known for "Mabinogi Heroes" and the fantasy novel "The White Lonyap River." Director Jin Seung-ho commands a dedicated fan base for "Black Room," "Gray City," and "Buried Stars," while director Choi Ji-won led "Lies of P" and the DLC "Lies of P: Prelude."
