AhnLab said on the 19th that it held an ESG special lecture for executives and employees by inviting attorney Hong Seok-beom of Yoon & Yang LLC to speak on the theme of "Fair trade risk management strategy: focusing on cases under the Agency Transactions Act."
The lecture covered topics centered on the Agency Transactions Act related to AhnLab's sales structure, which works closely with distributors and partner companies, including ▲ key contents and scope of application of the Agency Transactions Act ▲ frequent violations in practice ▲ prohibited transaction conditions and sanction levels ▲ risk points by industry characteristics. AhnLab said that, following last year, it plans to continue providing fair trade education tailored by job function as well as for all executives and employees, starting with this lecture this year.
Attorney Hong Seok-beom, an expert in fair trade, emphasized the need to comply with the Agency Transactions Act, saying, "Considering ESG and provisions of the Commercial Act together, compliance with laws and ensuring fairness in agency transactions are a demand of the times and a key factor in the sustainability of corporations."
