Netmarble said on the 18th that it has officially launched the collection RPG "Seven Knights Re:Birth" globally.
"Seven Knights Re:Birth" stoked expectations for success by ranking No. 1 on the popularity charts of app stores in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau in the global pre-downloads that began on the 16th. Users can download the mobile version through the app markets (AOS, iOS) and the PC version through the official brand site. The game operates on a global one-build and supports 15 languages, including English, Japanese, and Spanish.
Ahead of the global launch, Netmarble held offline showcases in Thailand and Taiwan to communicate with local users. Netmarble Nexus CEO Kim Jeong-min and executive PD Kim Jeong-gi attended the events to introduce the game, and in Taiwan, cheerleader Lee Da-hye, the game's model, took the stage in an "Eileen" cosplay to a warm reception.
"Seven Knights Re:Birth" is a remake project of the original "Seven Knights," enhancing fun by reflecting the latest trends while inheriting the story and combat system. When it launched domestically in May, it topped the App Store's revenue chart in a single day and reached No. 1 on both major app markets' revenue charts in five days.
The original "Seven Knights," since its global launch in 2015, has established itself as a global hit with 70 million cumulative downloads worldwide.
