Kakao Mobility said on the 16th that it published a "Partner growth report" compiling support activities for partners who participate as suppliers in Kakao Mobility's services, including taxis, designated drivers, and quick couriers.
The report includes a range of activities Kakao Mobility has carried out with partners who are service suppliers, such as training, service quality management, content, co-prosperity, and support programs. Kakao Mobility said it will release an annual growth report going forward and continue to share its journey of joint growth in mobility services with partners.
According to the report, Kakao Mobility has provided 320 million won in incentives to a total of about 3,800 partners from 2021 to recently to deliver messages of thanks and encouragement to partners who contributed to improving service quality. Starting in 2021 with the "Kakao T brand taxi master awards," which selected 100 taxi drivers with high customer ratings and reviews, Kakao Mobility said it has continued to provide incentives to taxi, designated driver, and T Pet drivers through various campaigns to improve customer service.
For partners starting services such as taxis, designated driving, and quick delivery for the first time, the introductory training that Kakao Mobility runs in-house surpassed a cumulative 100,000 completions for the first time in the first half of this year. The report features various testimonials, such as from a partner who started designated driving and found useful information, and from a person who changed jobs to a Kakao T Venti driver and had many concerns but gained confidence after completing the introductory training. In a post-training satisfaction survey, 90% responded "very satisfied," and for offline training in particular, 97% of participants said they were satisfied with the course structure.
In terms of content, topics closely tied to actual worksites drew strong interest from partners. This year, in particular, video content related to retirement and side jobs—such as "A second life on a truck" and "Why I chose to become a taxi driver as a retirement plan"—garnered hundreds of thousands of views and drew attention.
Lee Su-yeon, head of Kakao Mobility's CEM Office, said, "Partners are core companions in Kakao Mobility's services and play an important role in directly providing services to customers," and added, "We will continue our support activities to help strengthen partners' capabilities and improve their benefits, raise the quality of customer service, and provide customers with a better mobility experience."
