Kakao said on the 15th that it will run events offering various benefits so customers can prepare for the upcoming Chuseok at reasonable prices.
First, the large-scale discount event "Gangchu Week" on Kakao Shopping starts on the 15th. It covers all categories, including fresh and processed foods, living and kids, fashion and beauty, and home appliances, and opens by category. Instant discounts are also offered when paying with Kakao Pay. ▲ Home appliances: 7% off on payments of 100,000 won or more (up to 150,000 won). ▲ Processed foods: 7% off on payments of 10,000 won or more (up to 30,000 won). ▲ Other categories: 10% off on payments of 20,000 won or more (up to 10,000 won).
On KakaoTalk Gift, through the "Jjangjjang Special Price" event, coupons issued daily at 10 a.m. offer discounts of up to 10,000 won on delivery and exchange voucher products, with additional discounts when paying with Kakao Pay. Along with 24-hour time specials, shoppers can also find special deals from popular brands such as Huggies, d'Alba, and Kleenex.
From the 22nd to Oct. 9, the "Chuseok Special Exhibition" offers a 10% discount (up to 20,000 won) with no usage limit when purchasing 150,000 won or more with Kakao Pay, and runs a daily "990-won raffle event." The curated event featuring popular brands will also introduce recommended Chuseok gifts and premium gifts.
In addition, Kakao Shopping Live will host live broadcasts with various brands through "Kashora Week," offering special discounts and freebies to customers who purchase during the broadcasts.
