Decklar, a global company that provides logistics and supply chain management solutions based on AIOT (artificial internet of things), said on the 15th it is making a full-scale entry into the Korean market.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley in the United States, Decklar supplies logistics management solutions to more than 150 countries worldwide. Decklar also developed the world's first 5G (fifth-generation mobile communication) GPS smart label technology, establishing a system that tracks global shipments in a simple way without the need for retrieval. It currently has global hub offices in nine locations, including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, India, the UAE, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.
Based on visibility data and AI models accumulated for more than 10 years, Decklar has over 1,000 clients, including more than 100 Fortune Global 2000 corporations. Major clients include Amazon, Western Digital, DHL, and Kuehne+Nagel. Decklar processes more than 150 billion data records each year.
As part of its strategy to expand in Asia, the company appointed a Korean national as head of the Asia-Pacific region. Kang Min-woo, named as the head of the Asia-Pacific region, is an expert with more than 30 years of experience in sales and organizational management at Data Domain and Pure Storage, and will oversee business in Northeast Asia, including Korea.
