Kolon Benit said on the 15th that it will launch a CCTV video information de-identification solution in partnership with INFINIQ, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform corporations.
According to Kolon Benit, the new product is a prepackage that combines INFINIQ's AI de-identification solution HEIDI-AI and hardware optimized for it, significantly boosting customer usability.
The prepackage that Kolon Benit is developing with AI Alliance participants is a package-type solution integrating software, hardware, and technical elements, helping organizations adopt AI functions easily. Kolon Benit released its first three prepackages last month in response to rising demand on campuses, in offices, and at construction and manufacturing sites, and plans to continue developing new products.
HEIDI-AI is a service that automatically de-identifies personal information in images and videos. It blurs faces and license plates to protect personal information while maintaining data quality. The company said it is also designed to meet global privacy regulations, based on international security certifications such as ISO 27001, including Europe's GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and AI Act (artificial intelligence regulation), the United States' CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) and CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act), and Japan's APPI (Act on the Protection of Personal Information).
Kang Jae-hun, head of the AX Commerce Team at Kolon Benit, said, "This package is an AI Alliance collaboration case that packages innovative technology in video data de-identification into a service applicable in the field," and added, "We will continue to roll out AI prepackages that lead market demand."
