Samsung Electronics Service is supporting the daily convenience and career exploration of youths preparing for independence.
Samsung Electronics Service said on the 14th that it dispatched a vehicle equipped with mobile phone inspection equipment to the "Dreamcatcher Festival" held at the Changwon Convention Center on the 13th to provide free inspections of youths' smartphones and tablets. About 100 youths preparing for independence and children under protection in South Gyeongsang Province took part in the event.
Beyond product inspections, Samsung Electronics Service is donating daily necessities such as blankets to the Hope Stepping Stone South Gyeongsang Center to help youths achieve stable independence. "Samsung Hope Stepping Stone" is Samsung's social contribution program that supports housing, job training, and employment for youths preparing for independence, and it is also running skills enhancement programs such as a training course to cultivate air conditioning and refrigeration technicians.
9th, at the Daejeon training center, on-site tours and a special career lecture were offered for trainees. Through hands-on programs such as gas welding practice, industrial safety experiences, smart home appliance IoT linkage practice, heating and cooling facilities installation and inspection practice, and a special lecture on the service engineer role, the program helped participants obtain certifications and prepare for employment.
Samsung Electronics Service has been continuing social contribution activities in connection with Hope Stepping Stone centers nationwide, starting with volunteer work at the Gumi Center in 2023. It carried out various volunteer activities, including home appliance inspections, smartphone repairs, and daily necessities support, 24 times last year and 21 times this year.
