Big data analytics artificial intelligence (AI) corporations S2W said on the 11th it will join the domestic AI innovation corporations consortium "K-AI Alliance," led by SKT.
The "K-AI Alliance" is a leading domestic AI corporations consortium formed in Feb. 2023 under SKT's leadership. A total of 37 member companies, including S2W, Moloco, Twelve Labs, and Real World, are rolling out a wide range of businesses based on groundbreaking AI technologies across diverse industries such as defense, manufacturing, healthcare, and robotics. They are also seeking to vitalize the AI ecosystem and make joint entries overseas to target the global AI market, while solidifying a framework for mutual cooperation among member companies.
S2W said its joining the alliance is meaningful in that S2W, which has highly versatile AI and big data technologies spanning security, safety, and industry, has created a foothold to maximize business and technological synergies by exchanging capabilities with leading AI corporations representing each sector.
In practice, S2W has drawn strong attention from the global public sector, including international organizations and overseas government agencies, since its early days, leveraging its know-how in handling unstructured data on the dark web and Telegram—a process that demands high-level technical prowess in collection and refinement. Later, to meet private-sector demand for foundational technologies in security, it introduced follow-up products optimized into enterprise security solutions and industry-specific AI platforms, securing leading corporations across various industries as clients.
Based on advanced technologies recognized across domestic and overseas markets in both the private and public sectors, S2W plans to explore technology cooperation and commercialization plans with several member companies, including SKT, for system advancement and joint development of new services.
Seo Sang-deok, CEO of S2W, said, "I am honored to be able to join as a member of an AI corporations consortium that represents Korea," and added, "I hope this joining becomes a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the growth of the domestic AI ecosystem and to establish a coevolution model among innovation corporations."
