The cumulative number of friends for corporations, institutions, and small business owners that use the KakaoTalk Channel as a communication channel has reached 2 billion.
Kakao said on the 11th that it published the Kakao Group Business Impact Report 2025, which summarizes the results of its contributions across industries and the partner ecosystem.

The report introduced cases where KakaoTalk was used in service areas, including KakaoTalk Channel, Notification Talk, Consultation Talk, and brand emojis.

More than 2,000 partners have over 100,000 friends, including cases where sending Talk Channel coupons achieved a 40% purchase conversion rate or where sales on the day of message delivery increased by 2.4 times.
The report also included service outcomes for small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises. "Promote our store" is an ad product that allows offline stores to be easily promoted through KakaoTalk and Kakao Map.
In addition, Kakao Pay provided the "inbound offline overseas payment" service, which allows foreign tourists to easily pay at domestic Kakao Pay merchants using their home country's simple payment service, helping small business owners attract foreign customers.
According to the report, Kakao Mobility's "Kakao T Quick/Delivery" shortened quick order intake time by 24% with its "AI auto-fill address" feature. DK Techin's customer consultation service "ChatbotNow" surpassed a cumulative 3 million users two years after launch and handled 4.15 million consultations in 2024 alone, achieving an expense reduction of about 8.3 billion won.
Kakao said it operated an advisory panel made up of academic experts to enhance the report's reliability and expertise.
The report also included a "business ecosystem map" that visualizes the relationship between Kakao and its partners for an at-a-glance understanding.
