Kakao Enterprise said on the 11th that it launched a "hybrid GPUaaS" to help corporations and institutional clients seamlessly use large-scale graphics processing units (GPUs).
Hybrid GPUaaS integrates the process of adopting artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure—including the purchase of the latest high-spec GPUs, data centers, power, and integration and management—into the Kakao Cloud platform.
Kakao Enterprise said that when using GPUaaS, combining the strengths of cloud and on-premises (in-house deployment) enables the rapid introduction of high-performance AI infrastructure.
According to Kakao Enterprise, using GPUaaS can reduce GPU purchase or build expense and allows unified management of GPU clusters and infrastructure.
In addition, flexible scaling of GPU resources and stable operations are also cited as advantages of GPUaaS.
