NHN announced on the 5th that it held a special lecture by Go Master Lee Sedol as part of its in-house training program 'AI School' aimed at enhancing employees' AI utilization capabilities at its Pangyo office on the 4th.
Since launching the AI School in July, NHN has established a foundation for employees to grow alongside AI, covering everything from understanding the latest AI trends to acquiring practical application skills and insights needed in the AI era. The AI School is operated in two courses: ▲AI Insight Class and ▲One-Day Skill Class.
The AI Insight Class is a seminar format that explores core AI technologies and the latest trends, providing an opportunity to understand industry-wide changes. In July, Advisor Park Jong-cheon shared insights on 'The Flow of the AI Era and the Future of Work,' covering features and use cases of machine learning and large language models (LLM). In August, CEO Kang Soo-jin of The Prompt Company introduced cases of improving work efficiency and guidelines for prompt writing.
The One-Day Skill Class is a practice-oriented training program that includes report and proposal writing using ChatGPT, Excel/work automation, and data analysis education. For the game and design sectors, Adobe Firefly is provided, while Cursor and GitHub Copilot are offered for the tech sector.
On the 4th, during the Insight Class, Lee Sedol conducted a special lecture on 'The Attitude of Embracing AI: The Power of Creative Questions and Proactive Judgments.' He shared insights from his retirement match experience against the HanGame Go AI 'Handol,' as well as thoughts on the competitiveness, attitude, and essence of creativity that humans need to possess in the AI era.
An NHN official noted, 'AI is now a new work partner that helps with everything from report and proposal writing to programming,' adding, 'We will support employees to understand how to work with AI through the AI School and actively utilize it in their daily tasks.'
