Kakao VX announced on the 5th that it has launched a stay-type golf travel package in collaboration with the Gangwon Tourism Foundation to revitalize tourism in abandoned mining areas.
This package is part of the Gangwon Tourism Foundation's "Leisure Log: In" program, allowing golf enthusiasts to book a 2-day, 1-night trip to enjoy natural golf courses and tourist attractions in the Taebaek and Yeongwol areas through the Kakao Golf Reservation platform.
The package is designed to allow simultaneous experiences of golfing and local culture. Each package includes benefits worth 80,000 won, such as ▲golf course reservation ▲admission tickets to tourist attractions ▲accommodation vouchers ▲local discount benefits. The Taebaek O2 CC golf travel package offers green fees, accommodation at a golf resort, breakfast at the clubhouse, and admission tickets to Taebaek Tongri Tantan Park, while the Yeongwol Donggang Sistar CC golf travel package includes green fees, accommodation at a golf resort, breakfast at the clubhouse, and admission tickets to Yeongwol Cheongnyeongpo. These two packages can only be reserved through the Kakao Golf Reservation app, and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until October 30.
