Megazone Cloud announced on the 4th that it has successfully built an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system to enhance the efficiency of quality document preparation for GC Biopharma. Through this system implementation, GC Biopharma has improved the reliability and consistency of product evaluation reports and trend analysis reports, reduced document preparation time by more than 80%, and achieved quality innovation and work efficiency.
The newly built system was developed based on Megazone Cloud's "Megazone AIR Consulting" and "Megazone AIR Build" services, and Amazon Web Services' (AWS) "Amazon Bedrock," incorporating Anthropic's latest large language model (LLM), "Claude 3.7," and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology. RAG is a technology that searches internal databases and external information in real-time and reflects that in its responses.
Previously, documents had to be manually compiled from data such as SAP and quality management systems. As a result, a lot of time was consumed in document preparation, and there was also a lack of consistency. The new system was built to shorten the drafting time in accordance with the European Union's GMP guidelines, with final reports to be finalized after review by current staff.
Kong Seong-bae, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) of Megazone Cloud, noted, "This system implementation is a case that shows that AI and cloud technology can achieve real results even in complex environments like the pharmaceutical industry," adding, "We will support digital innovation throughout the healthcare industry."
