Samsung Electronics will showcase the 'AI Home' technology, which understands and adapts to users and families in the household, at Europe's largest electronics and IT exhibition, IFA 2025.
Samsung Electronics announced on the 4th that it will participate in the IFA 2025 being held in Berlin, Germany, from 5th to 9th (local time) under the theme 'AI Home, making future daily life a reality.' It will set up the industry's largest exhibition hall of 6,235 square meters to implement AI Home that can be applied immediately to daily life and introduce various new products and services.
◇ Emphasizing the 'AI Home' features applied to daily life
Samsung Electronics has organized the exhibition hall around four core experiences provided by 'AI Home': ▲ease and convenience ▲health and safety ▲time and energy efficiency ▲security.
In the 'AI Home Living' zone, features covering overall daily life, including sleep, nutrition, and family care, will be demonstrated. Using data collected from the Galaxy Watch, optimal bedtime recommendations will be provided, and when 'Goodnight Mode' is activated, the TV, lighting, air conditioning, and air purifier will be automatically controlled. The 'AI Vision Inside' function of the refrigerator recognizes internal ingredients and suggests recipes, while also allowing users to check the activity data of remote parents.
◇ 'AI Home Inside' completed with three main AI technologies... new product exhibition
In the 'AI Home Inside' zone, new products equipped with Samsung's core AI technologies ▲Vision AI ▲Bespoke AI ▲Galaxy AI will be displayed.
The TV equipped with Vision AI can engage in conversational responses to users' various questions about weather and news through the 'Vision AI Companion' feature, and it supports real-time subtitle translation, generative wallpaper, and picture and sound optimization. Samsung Electronics will showcase the 115-inch Micro RGB TV, 'Spatial Signage' that realizes 3D spatial effects, and a transparent Micro LED with high transparency as new display products.
Bespoke AI appliances are showcased, including the new robot vacuum cleaner 'Bespoke AI Steam', which recognizes even transparent liquids, and the 'Bespoke AI Hybrid Refrigerator', which adjusts cooling methods according to the environment, as well as the 'Bespoke AI Combo', which recommends wash cycles by detecting the weight, type, and degree of soiling of laundry. A washing machine that consumes 65% less power than the highest energy efficiency rating in Europe will also be unveiled.
In the institutional sector, mobile products equipped with AI assistants such as the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Galaxy Watch8 will be displayed. Galaxy AI is a multimodal AI that processes various information simultaneously, including text, images, audio, and video, and can respond instantly to user inquiries through the screen and camera sharing feature of 'Gemini Live'. The Galaxy Z Fold7 can edit images taken with its 200-megapixel wide-angle camera on a large screen based on AI. The Galaxy Watch8 measures the antioxidant index for the first time in a smartwatch and provides experience scenarios based on interests such as sleep, running, and antioxidants along with a running coach.
Samsung will also introduce how the AI Home experience is extending beyond homes to commercial and industrial sites such as stores and offices through 'SmartThings Pro' at this exhibition. In the AI Store zone, automated solutions that manage store operations remotely and efficiently control energy and inventory will be displayed. In the AI Office zone, solutions to enhance workplace safety using SOS features linked with the Galaxy Watch and energy-saving measures for large buildings based on Knox-based B2B technology will be presented. The AI Stay zone will introduce models that increase management efficiency through energy independence, fault diagnosis, and remote maintenance in residential complexes.
