On the 4th, Tinder announced that the double date feature launched in July has increased the message exchange frequency per match by 35% compared to 1:1 chatting.
According to Tinder, female users are more active than male users, with a 3-fold higher probability of liking their pair and a 4-fold higher match success rate. Currently, 92% of users utilizing the double date feature are under 30 years old. This feature allows users to team up with friends and be matched with teams consisting of other double date mates.
When using the double date feature compared to the existing 1:1 match method, the amount of messages sent and received per match increased by 35%. Particularly, the rate of planning actual meetings through group chatting was more than 7 times higher than before. The mention of double date related Tinder profiles has also increased by 65% since January this year.
