Remember & Company announced on the 2nd that it will beta launch the business consolidation platform 'Remember Connect.'
The newly launched Remember Connect is a service that allows users to find and engage with individuals from various corporations and experts from all walks of life. Users can search for needed individuals by name, company, industry, job title, and check detailed profiles, including their history and areas of expertise. Subsequently, users can communicate through 1:1 messages within Remember without disclosing contact information.
Remember Connect can be widely utilized for various business purposes. For instance, users can find and contact representatives of specific corporations for business partnerships, or seek advice from experts in specific fields. Users can also send messages for light networking or make requests for speakers and career mentoring. However, it is restricted for recruitment proposal purposes.
This service is based on separate open profiles registered directly by Remember members. Users can register profiles detailing their current job duties and the career expertise they have accumulated over time. Sensitive personal contact details such as phone numbers and emails are not disclosed.
Interest in the service has been high even before the official launch. Since revealing the concept in April and starting pre-registration, Remember Connect has amassed over 200,000 pre-registrants in just four months. Notably, more than 3,000 senior executives from large corporations have actively participated from the pre-registration stage, garnering significant attention. The company explained that this reflects a desire among members to find people needed for business and an anticipation of the service.
Remember expects that the launch of this new service will transform the paradigm of business networking. It provides a new experience of finding and consolidating individuals needed for work easily with just one search. This allows users to move away from the formerly inefficient method of relying on personal connections or introductions through acquaintances, making it easier to connect to and expand new networks through an online platform.
Choi Jae-ho, CEO of Remember, noted, "Under the mission of 'connecting people with opportunities,' Remember, which has focused on connecting high-level talent with better career opportunities over the past five years, aims to expand its domain to connect members with various business opportunities as well. Remember Connect will serve as an essential hub that broadens the networks necessary for working individuals and connects them with new opportunities."
