On the 2nd, LG Uplus announced that it will jointly develop a corporate and finance specialized AI foundation model in collaboration with KODATA, a comprehensive Credit Bureau.
KODATA is a corporate information agency that holds the largest collection of over 14 million corporate data in Korea. It has the infrastructure to comprehensively analyze various data such as corporations' financial status, credit ratings, and real estate ownership.
The two companies will develop the 'corporate and finance specialized AI foundation model' based on LG AI Research's ultra-large language model 'EXAONE', by applying the domain-specific learning technology used in LG Uplus's 'ixi-GEN'.
Furthermore, they plan to introduce customized AI services that can enhance the work efficiency of financial professionals and corporate clients by allowing them to explore corporate information interactively and automatically generate reports.
In particular, this model will incorporate DACP (Domain Adaptive Continual Pre-Training) technology to enhance performance in the corporate and finance sectors. DACP is a technology that enhances the accuracy and domain understanding of AI models by adding specialized data from various industries, making it useful for creating models optimized for each industry.
Through this collaboration, LG Uplus expects to expand its AI service portfolio for corporate clients, including the financial sector, while KODATA hopes to discover new revenue models utilizing its own data.
