ESTaid announced on the 2nd that it will launch webtoon and web novel services on the portal Zum.
This service was developed in collaboration with Guru Company, which provides webtoon and web novel solutions. The two companies agreed to offer curation features such as customized recommendations, a weekly top 30 ranking, and search services like 'AI 1-Second Summary' and 'AI Issue Trends.'
Both companies expect that this collaboration will expand the service area of the portal Zum and create an opportunity for webtoons and web novels to be actively consumed as lifestyle content.
Kim Nam-hyun, CEO of ESTaid, noted, "The opening of a dedicated section for webtoons and web novels is a decision that reflects users' diverse content needs and serves as an important milestone in the evolution of the Zum portal."
