SK shieldus announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with DB Insurance to establish cybersecurity risk response and compensation services, supporting the enhancement of hacking incident response capabilities for small and medium-sized corporations.
The two companies will provide security services that combine incident response and compensation for small and medium-sized corporations lacking security expertise and solution investment capacity. The goal is to strengthen 'Cyber Resilience' to minimize damage and quickly restore operations in the event of cyber attacks, system failures, or data breaches.
SK shieldus will combine the compensation services of DB Insurance with its cybersecurity services, which provide rapid and professional response in the event of a hacking incident. As a result, corporate clients that subscribe to the service will receive compensation for IT recovery expenses, personal information breach litigation, reputation protection, and business interruption losses alongside the specialized response from SK shieldus, establishing a one-stop system that encompasses both security and compensation.
Additionally, DB Insurance plans to utilize SK shieldus's capabilities for assessing the cyber risks of client companies and designate SK shieldus as a consulting agency in the event of an insurance incident to enhance expertise. The two companies will expand the scope of their cooperation in the future through the joint development of new cybersecurity insurance products.
SK shieldus has provided small and medium-sized corporations with ▲'Cyber Guard' supporting personal information protection, server and network protection, and ransomware detection and blocking ▲Managed Detection and Response (MDR) that supports cause analysis, infection blocking, and recovery in the event of a hacking incident. This partnership will also introduce a new subscription service that combines incident response and compensation.
