Naver Webtoon announced on the 28th that it will launch the digital version of renowned basketball manga "Slam Dunk: New Size Edition" by Takehiko Inoue for the first time in Korea, starting from midnight on the 29th on Naver Webtoon and Naver Series.
The "Slam Dunk: New Size Edition," which was published as a digital version in Japan last June and has been beloved by manga fans, will be unveiled for the first time in Korea through Naver Webtoon and Naver Series. It will be available for two months as a limited service on Naver Webtoon, while readers can continue to enjoy it as a physical book on Naver Series.
Naver Series will hold a promotion from the exclusive pre-release period starting on the 29th until October 28th, where customers purchasing the "Slam Dunk: New Size Edition" set will receive a cookie worth 10% of the expense.
The "Slam Dunk: New Size Edition" being offered now is a series of 20 volumes that Takehiko Inoue has personally restructured and illustrated with new cover art. While maintaining the contents of the original 31-volume edition, it compresses the number of volumes to align with the narrative flow and features all new color illustrations on the covers, earning much love from fans.
