Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that it will unveil its new 'Infinite Line Hood-integrated Induction' product at IFA 2025, the largest home appliance exhibition in Europe, next month.
The hood-integrated induction is a product that has a fan and filter built into the induction to suck in smells and smoke generated while cooking. The ingested smells and smoke are discharged through a duct at the bottom of the induction or filtered out.
It allows for the realization of an open kitchen interior without the need to install a separate hood on the kitchen ceiling, and reduces the expense and time involved in installation.
The new product features a 'Turbo Slim Fan' that minimizes air resistance, quickly removing smells and smoke while generating less noise. The large-diameter Turbo Slim Fan achieves the European energy efficiency standard A++ grade.
The induction applies a 'Quattro Flex' zone without borders around the cooking area. The Quattro Flex zone consists of four closely woven coils that heat a large area uniformly, allowing many ingredients to be cooked at once.
The material used is high-hardness glass that alleviates concerns about scratches. It features a matte texture that can enhance kitchen interiors, and an anti-contamination coating that allows for easy removal of food residues or fingerprints.
Samsung Electronics' 'Infinite Line Hood-integrated Induction' is expected to be released in the domestic and European markets next year.
Moon Jong-soo, vice president of Samsung Electronics' Digital Appliances Division, noted, 'This new product has a hood-integrated design that aligns with recent kitchen interior trends, along with performance and high-hardness glass. We will continue to introduce products that lead not only in technology and performance but also in design trends.'
