KT Cloud announced on the 26th the expansion of its partnership for "AI Foundry" (hereafter referred to as AI Foundry) to collaborate on vertical AI business. For this purpose, on the 25th, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with five AI corporations, including Allganize, Enhance, Sage, Springk, and MongoDB, at its headquarters. The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister Gong Yong-jun of KT Cloud and key officials from each company to discuss cooperation plans.
Currently, the global AI market is rapidly shifting from general-purpose AI to vertical AI that supports task automation and problem-solving tailored to specific industries such as finance and manufacturing. Accordingly, six corporations plan to supply AI agents and models optimized for the fields of ▲finance (Allganize) ▲e-commerce (Enhance) ▲manufacturing and industrial safety (Sage) based on KT Cloud's AI Foundry. Additionally, in collaboration with Springk, they will enhance the reliability and effectiveness of AI, and with MongoDB, they will provide databases that can reliably manage data generated in real-time.
KT Cloud supports each corporation in developing customized AI models that reflect industry-specific data, regulations, and workflows through its Foundry-based platform. Furthermore, to promote the spread of vertical AI, it plans to assist partners in entering the public market through support for obtaining CSAP certification, in line with government policies and regulatory improvement trends.
KT Cloud launched its AI Foundry business in earnest from May and is expected to officially release the "RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Suite" in September. This service will support customers in quickly building RAG systems and will also be used for future linkage and expansion with AI agents. Based on this, KT Cloud plans to continuously provide a differentiated "Agentic RAG" experience by combining high-quality knowledge data with industry-specific automation solutions.
