Infobip announced on the 26th that it has established a strategic partnership with SK Telecom and will promote the advancement of integrated contact centers. Infobip is a global cloud communication platform corporation. SK Telecom is a subsidiary of SK Telecom that operates budget phone (MVNO), international phone, and satellite communication services.
The two companies will promote the advancement of the 'integrated contact center' through this partnership and will push forward marketing automation and customer interaction support. They plan to accelerate the establishment of an 'omnichannel contact center' for client companies through the integration of Infobip's contact center solution 'Conversations' and SK Telecom's network. Infobip supports communication across major channels such as SMS, voice, Kakao, and Instagram in a single integrated contact center with its omnichannel technology.
An Infobip representative noted about Conversations, "We provide localized customer experiences through major regional channels, including KakaoTalk, and help corporations build robust contact centers without being limited by specific messaging apps or regions."
SK Telecom aims to shorten the time to launch digital services and strengthen its existing SMS and voice communication channel business through this partnership.
Ivan Buljan, director of the Telecom Division at Infobip, said, "The combination of Infobip's technological capabilities and SK Telecom's network prowess will support fast and reliable communication wherever customers are located."
Lee Seong-cheol, head of the International Business Division at SK Telecom, stated, "By combining the stable communication network owned by SK Telecom with Infobip's globally top-tier communication platform as a service (CPaaS) capabilities, we will enable corporations to swiftly adopt the latest communication platform services and communicate with customers without the burden of building separate solutions."
