SK AX announced on the 26th that based on its experience nurturing practical AX (AI transformation) talent, it is working to spread the 'way of working with AX' across customers and industries.
With this year's name change, SK AX is transitioning to an 'AI default company' system that applies artificial intelligence (AI) as a default in all company operations. From the early stages of tasks, the company reviews the potential for AI implementation, and in the execution phase, it internalizes a structure where humans set the direction and AI performs the tasks throughout the organization.
At the center of this transformation is the 'AI Talent Lab,' a system for nurturing practical talent independently designed and operated by SK AX. This program is a hands-on training platform that supports members in defining problems and designing and implementing optimized AI agents for their work. Through this, it enables even non-developers to create AI models and apply them to solve business problems.
In the introductory course, participants freely handle generative AI and develop their prompt creation skills, while measuring and internalizing their utilitarian capabilities through the 'AI literacy certification system.' Subsequently, the 'AI Bootcamp' offers intensive training so that even non-developers can implement complete AI agents, and in the 'AI Master Project,' practical assignments using actual project data to solve real-world environments are given.
Through this AX talent nurturing system, SK AX is spreading practical AI execution capability beyond a culture of AI utilization centered around its members to customers, partners, and society at large. In particular, the 'Small and Medium Enterprises Co-prosperity Academy,' aimed at employees of small and medium-sized enterprises and young job seekers, has produced over 600 practical talents just two months after its establishment and has been designated as a representative excellent program by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The K-Digital Training program for young job seekers, 'SKALA,' also completed its first course last month, with 88% of graduates successfully securing employment.
Ji-won Cha, head of SK AX AT Service Division 1, said, "There have been requests from developers at customer companies who have worked on actual projects together, wanting to receive training at the AI Talent Lab," and noted, "This marks the beginning of the acceleration of external dissemination."
Min-hwan Kim, in charge of talent at SK AX, remarked, "AI should not just be learned; it must be used as a tool for direct implementation and problem-solving," adding, "Under the philosophy that both members and customers must possess practical AX capabilities together, we are creating an AX execution ecosystem across the industry."
