On the 25th, Samsung Electronics announced that it will participate in Europe's largest home appliance exhibition, IFA 2025, next month under the theme "AI Home - Future Living, Now."
IFA is considered one of the world's three major electronics and IT exhibitions, along with CES in Las Vegas, U.S., and Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. This year's IFA will be held in Berlin, Germany, from Sept. 5 to 9 (local time) under the theme "Imagining the Future."
This exhibition conveys the meaning that Samsung Electronics' AI Home is a reality that can be experienced now, rather than a future possibility, aiming for an experience that everyone can enjoy, not just a select few.
Samsung Electronics is expected to showcase a large number of key products equipped with AI-based innovative technologies, including the 'Micro RGB TV', which integrates the latest display technology, new bespoke AI home appliances targeting the European market, and new mobile products that will strengthen the Galaxy AI ecosystem.
Additionally, these products are planned to provide a differentiated AI Home experience unique to Samsung, connected through the AI Home platform SmartThings, making daily life more convenient, healthy, and safe.
At the press conference held the day before the opening, plans will be presented to realize ambient AI, which was emphasized at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, within the AI Home.
Kim Cheol-ki, vice president and head of the DA division at Samsung Electronics, said, "The AI Home that Samsung Electronics envisions will be a part of our lives, better understanding users based on connected devices and intuitively adjusting to what is needed in daily life. I expect this IFA to be an opportunity that signals the start of that."
