S-1 announced on the 24th that it is effectively reducing losses by introducing 'logistics tracking technology' to address delivery errors and accidents occurring at logistics centers.
The logistics tracking solution automatically captures the delivery items on CCTV each time the barcode is scanned as they pass through the conveyor belt. For example, the system captures images at each stage, such as when a parcel box passes through the sorting worktable or during packaging.
The recorded video is stored in connection with the tracking number of the parcel, so if a problem occurs, inputting the tracking number into a PC allows for viewing the entire process that the product went through at the logistics center from start to finish on video.
This helps quickly identify causes such as missing packaging or label errors, minimizing losses. In fact, after implementing the solution at the BGF Logistics Gyeonggi Logistics Center, the logistics loss rate caused by misdelivery and loss decreased by about 30% over two years. The company explained that this has reduced annual losses by over 100 million won.
