CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 21st that its membership service CJ ONE will undergo a complete overhaul of its application to enhance member benefits and usability.
The reform aims to transform the service into an engaging platform where members can create content and receive rewards, going beyond just point accumulation and usage. The official launch is planned for November.
A company official noted, "The key to this overhaul is the establishment of a 'benefits sharing' community." To invigorate the community, a rewards program called 'Point Seeds' will also be introduced. Members can earn Point Seeds through community activities, such as receiving 'likes' on their posts or leaving 'likes' on other members' posts more than 10 times. Point Seeds can be converted into CJ ONE points, allowing members to accumulate more points as they engage more actively.
In addition, CJ ONE will apply a bottom tab menu consisting of key functions such as point accumulation/payment barcode, benefits sharing, and today's mission to the revamped app.
CJ ONE currently has 31 million members and has partnerships with over 60 brands, providing membership benefits in various fields such as lifestyle/convenience, travel, education, and mobility.
Kim Dae-sung, who oversees CJ ONE at CJ OliveNetworks, said, "This overhaul lays the foundation for CJ ONE to leap into a community-centered new platform," adding, "We will continuously innovate our services so that all members, including the MZ generation, can enjoy benefits and value in their daily lives through CJ ONE and share their experiences."
