NHN officially launched the collection-based RPG "Abyssdia" in Japan on the 20th, it announced on the 21st.
"Abyssdia" is an RPG game that contains the story of the black space "Abyss Slit," which contaminates the world, and the beings known as "Conductors" that have special abilities to purify it. The game is designed to allow users to immerse themselves and grow alongside their characters through a structure centered around the story and characters.
On the first day of its release, it topped the App Store's free game rankings, while the pre-released OST project and original character videos each surpassed 3.2 million and 5 million views, respectively.
Key contents of the game include ▲ a "Let's eat together" system based on affinity and ▲ a real-time combat system in which four characters participate together in combat. "Let's eat together" features a setting where characters share their favorite food, facilitating interaction with the characters. The four-person combat allows for various strategies based on character combinations, attributes, and combat styles.
Kim Sang-hoo, head of NHN's game business division, said, "We prepared this so that users in the Japanese market, where preferences for characters, music, and stories are high, can relate to and enjoy it."
"Abyssdia" is available on the Google Play, App Store, and PC (Google Play Games) platforms in Japan.
