Raonsecure announced on the 21st that its 'Communication 3.0: Blockchain-based Participatory Community Platform,' developed in collaboration with the blockchain technology company 'Zcrypto,' has been selected for the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA)'s '2025 Blockchain Private Sector Expansion Project.'
Through this project, Raonsecure and the consortium lead company Zcrypto plan to develop a platform that integrates blockchain with decentralized identity (DID) and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies to enhance the reliability of opinion polls and community services, as well as the integrity of data. Raonsecure will apply its blockchain and 'OmniOne Enterprise Platform' technologies to the 'Communication 3.0 Platform.'
The 'Communication 3.0 Platform' is a blockchain-based participatory community platform that allows participation in opinion polls and community activities through mobile identity verification. The response results will be processed anonymously and recorded on a tamper-proof blockchain. It is designed to overcome limitations such as the risk of tampering and personal information leakage that arises from the centralized data structure of existing services. Raonsecure's 'OmniOne Enterprise,' applied to the 'Communication 3.0 Platform,' is a blockchain-based digital ID platform that will be used for key national mobile identities, such as the national mobile resident registration card and mobile driver's license.
Raonsecure plans to expand its business alongside Zcrypto to various institutions, including universities and private companies, and intends to apply artificial intelligence (AI) technology to continually advance the platform.
Lee Jung-a, CEO of Raonsecure, said, "This project is expected to contribute to the expansion of trustworthy online opinion polls and community services through the development of an integrated participatory platform based on blockchain technology."
