KRAFTON has abruptly ended global pre-registration for its mobile new title "Abyss of Dungeon" and decided to reassess its launch plan. The game, currently in soft launch in some regions, including the United States and Canada, will remain playable for existing users.
On the 19th, the production team at Bluehole Studio announced via their official website that they would end global pre-registration, which had been ongoing since August 2024, saying, "We will reassess our overall service strategy and adjust the release schedule based on the results of the soft launch in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, and others." They added, "We apologize for not meeting the expectations of users who have been waiting for the launch."
"Abyss of Dungeon," originally known as "Dark and Darker Mobile," began its soft launch in the North American market in February and expanded services to Southeast Asia and Latin America in June. A global release was anticipated within the year; however, it appears the schedule has been delayed to enhance its quality based on internal evaluations.
