SK hynix is expanding its annual recruitment event to nurture and secure semiconductor talent.
According to the industry on the 14th, SK hynix will hold the '2025 SK hynix Tech Day' event starting at Hanyang University on the 18th and running until the 4th of next month, under the slogan 'Memory, the Power of AI & Talent, the Power of SK hynix.'
Following Hanyang University, the event is expected to be held in order at Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University, Sogang University, Pohang University of Science and Technology, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), with Hanyang University and Sogang University being added this year.
SK hynix holds recruitment events annually for graduate students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees in the domestic semiconductor field, sharing the company's vision and technological leadership with future talent and discussing the latest semiconductor technology trends.
SK hynix hopes to play a role in preventing the brain drain of domestic semiconductor research and development (R&D) master's and doctoral students and nurturing semiconductor talent at a national level.
This year's event has been newly designed as a technology-centered event focusing on tech sessions and product competitiveness. Accordingly, key executives from SK hynix will be attending in large numbers to convey the latest technology trends and insights from the field.
This year, sessions will operate according to the research characteristics and areas of interest of each school, including ▲design ▲system architecture ▲advanced package technology ▲process and devices, allowing participants to experience the company's competitiveness as it strengthens its position as a 'full-stack AI memory provider' leading the artificial intelligence (AI) memory market.
Prior to the main event, there will be one-on-one job interviews with current employees, and the tech session will include lectures and discussions on key technological competitiveness and future vision. The HR session will then provide information on corporate culture and scholarship programs.
A representative from SK hynix noted, 'The Tech Day is establishing itself as a platform where technology and people meet, beyond a simple recruitment briefing,' adding, 'We will solidify our status as a global AI memory leader through continuous communication with the talents who will lead the future semiconductor industry.'
