Emro reported on the 14th that its cumulative sales revenue for the first half of 2025 reached 42.68 billion won, an increase of 26.2% from the same period last year. This marks the first time that cumulative sales for the first half surpassed 40 billion won since its establishment.
The operating profit and net profit for the first half were 1.12 billion won and 480 million won, respectively. The sales revenue for the second quarter was 22.05 billion won, a 14.9% increase compared to the same period last year, achieving the largest second-quarter performance ever.
Key factors for sales growth include ▲ the establishment of purchasing systems and expansion of overseas branches primarily among large corporate clients, along with increased adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions ▲ visible achievements in overseas expansion through the global supply chain management (SRM) software as a service (SaaS) solution 'Caidentia' ▲ and stable technology fees and cloud service usage fees generated from existing clients.
In particular, sales revenue from software licenses recorded 3.73 billion won, up 13.1% from the same period last year. The company explained that this increase reflects heightened demand among domestic large enterprises for purchasing solutions and the expansion of overseas subsidiaries, as the reshuffling of the global supply chain is accelerating due to tariff policies originating from the U.S.
Additionally, the technology fees and cloud service usage fees consistently generated from existing clients who have adopted Emro's solutions increased by 26.3% and 9.2%, amounting to 7.54 billion won and 2.77 billion won, respectively. Meanwhile, the company began generating new sales in international markets starting from the first half by supplying its global SRM SaaS solution 'Caidentia' to U.S. HVAC companies and leading global PC and server manufacturers.
Emro plans to enhance its solutions centered around AI and cloud technology in the second half of the year to ensure balanced growth in both domestic and international markets. To this end, it intends to upgrade its existing solutions by including various global standard purchasing functions and AI agents specialized for procurement, releasing them on a SaaS basis. Recently, Emro showcased AI agent features that support various purchasing tasks, such as supplier searches, querying similar order performance, and document preparation related to purchases, and these features have been supplied to the largest IT corporation in Korea, along with proof of concept (PoC) testing conducted with major domestic plant companies.
An Emro official noted, 'Caidentia has signed three contracts in North America since its overseas market entry last year, and it recorded the highest number of attendees among exhibitors at the Gartner Europe event held in May this year, securing a significant number of sales pipelines in Europe.' They added, 'Furthermore, it also achieved valuable results by being listed in reports from major global market research organizations IDC and Forrester as the first SRM solution in Korea.'
