KRAFTON announced on the 13th that its PUBG studio is releasing a new demo of the PC game 'PUBG: Blindspot' through the global gaming distribution platform Steam.
This demo will be available for three weeks, from 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the 14th, to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2. The new demo has expanded content and systems compared to the first demo released in February.
'Blindspot' is a 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooting game. The company explained that it implements a realistic shooting mechanism, which is hard to find in existing top-down view games, at a brisk pace. It is characterized by allowing players to enjoy gunfights that capture the unique impact and action of shooting games while experiencing strategic play utilizing the advantages of the top-down view.
Yang Seung-myung, the PD leading the development of Blindspot, noted, "This demo actively reflects user feedback collected from the first test in February," and added, "In particular, the introduction of new characters and a rank system will provide a more strategic and immersive gaming experience."
