Kim Nam-sun, the head of strategic investments at Naver, will be appointed as the CEO of Poshmark, Naver's North American subsidiary. On the 11th, Poshmark announced that CEO Manish Chandra, who led the company for 15 years, will step down and that Kim Nam-sun will take over as CEO starting October 1.
Poshmark is North America's largest secondhand transaction platform, and Naver acquired it in January 2023 for approximately 1.6 trillion won. Kim Nam-sun served as Naver's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for three years before currently overseeing global strategy and venture capital investment strategy as the head of strategic investments. He has also been providing strategic guidance to enhance Poshmark's operational efficiency since April.
Kim Nam-sun expressed, "I feel honored to be appointed as CEO," and stated, "I will continue the innovation at Poshmark based on CEO Chandra's legacy and achieve a new leap forward."
