NCSOFT announced on the 11th that it has established a mobile casual center and recruited Anel Ceman as the center head.
The establishment of this organization and recruitment is a strategy aimed at diversifying the global-focused game portfolio and strengthening competitiveness in the data-driven game business using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. NCSOFT plans to expand and enhance its AI technology and data capabilities into the mobile casual game sector while actively seeking global investment opportunities.
Anel Ceman is a mobile casual game expert who has worked in the European market for over 10 years and has held business roles at global corporations such as Tripledot Studios, a UK mobile casual game developer, and Outfit7, known for the Talking Tom intellectual property.
NCSOFT will also strive to secure competitiveness in the mobile casual game business, following the strengthening of its own new intellectual property development and publishing business, enhancement of development capabilities in large-scale massively multiplayer online games (MMOs), and the establishment of shooting and subculture game clusters.
