Samsung Electronics noted on the 10th that its smart monitor M9 has received consecutive praise from major information technology (IT) media in the United States.
The M9, launched in June, is the first in Samsung's smart monitor lineup to feature an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel, supporting 4K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time.
It also enhanced content viewing convenience through AI features such as 4K artificial intelligence (AI) upscaling pro, AI picture optimization, and active voice pro.
The U.S. IT media Tom's Guide evaluated the M9 as "a product that has achieved a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor, with its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel providing excellent contrast and color performance to enhance the movie watching experience," adding, "The M9 has the highest-level performance among Samsung's OLED 4K monitors."
It further mentioned, "The M9 supports Samsung Vision AI to optimize picture quality and perform upscaling," noting, "AI optimizes colors and brightness for any scene."
Techaeris awarded the M9 a score of 9.7 out of 10, selecting it as a Top Pick 2025 product.
The media stated, "The monitor offers vibrant and vivid colors, thanks to quantum dot backlighting, providing an astonishing brightness that doesn't fade colors," adding, "The M9 equipped with QD-OLED technology is on par with the best monitors available today."
HomeTheaterReview praised it as "one of the most impressive displays available on the market," stating, "Its fast response and color accuracy are at a level that would excite creative professionals."
The M9 was honored with the 'Innovation Awards Honoree' by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States last November.
